EXCITING TIMES FOR OUR CHARITY

    A message from Helen Baker, CEO.

    Having come through Covid as a stronger charity, it gives me pleasure to say that were are reopening a number of our Azalea centres providing a happy, fun filled time for many of our clients.

    I’m delighted to announce that the Care Quality Commission (CQC) has confirmed our “Outstanding” level of services has continued thanks to our excellent employees.

    Our senior management team has been strengthened with Claire Smeeth joining us as the Service Lead Manager. Claire’s main task is to develop the charity with new services and/or extending our present services. Leah Sullinge joined as the Finance Manager providing greater support to the trustees and the charity. Additionally, we have a stand alone project over 2 years to plan with businesses in Gloucestershire methods of assisting employees who are also carers.

    As part of the strengthening of our senior management team we are now recruiting a Registered Manager who will report to me, as the CEO, and be the senior person overseeing the ‘registered’ operations of the charity.     CARE QUALITY COMMISSION GIVES CONTINUING ‘OUTSTANDNG’ RATING

    For CCG to be rated ‘outstanding’ it must provide an exemplary service. The CQC found CCG was being lead by an outstanding management team and to provide outstanding caring for clients, was performing well and meeting expectations in a safe, effective and responsive environment.

    As a client, you can be assured by the ‘outstanding’ rating received by the Care Quality Commission as it is the regulator for the industry.
